Heaton Park is a local favourite for families, and during the Easter holidays, they run a Big Easter Egg Hunt. Kids can follow a trail around the park, collect clues, and enjoy some seasonal treats. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and let the little ones burn off some energy.

Perfect for a quieter day outdoors, Burrs Country Park offers walking trails, picnic areas, and riverside fun. Kids can spot wildlife, explore open spaces, or just enjoy being outside.

Salford Quays Easter Duck Race - Friday 3rd April, 12.30pm - 4pm
Easter duck race at Salford Quays. Not real ducks! But a bit of fun watching the Salford Fire Brigade blast them with a jet to win the race, and you can sponsor your own duckling. Not just a load of ducks!…… There will be food vendors, fairground rides and more
Tatton Park - Knutsford - Cheshire
Lambing week at the farm - 28th March - 5th April - Learn how they look after their sheep and care for their lambs - with daily talks from 12-2pm ( Closed Monday 30th March)
